èVita Residue-Free potatoes will be coming soon to supermarket fruit and vegetable aisles, a new variety resulting from the research led by Romagnoli F.lli Spa together with Legambiente and Tuscia University, which is already available at certain major supermarket chains in northern and central Italy.
The partnership between Romagnoli F.lli Spa and Gialle & Co. is under way. The latter is a restaurant in Milan famous for giving one of the most typical British dishes an Italian twist – the baked potato – filled with typical traditional, authentic and seasonal ingredients and, from today, made using the best potato varieties supplied by Romagnoli F.lli.

On 4 July, at the Selva Maggiore farm in Bologna, Romagnoli F.lli Spa presented the results of the first field experiment in Italy to grow varieties of potatoes that are resistant to Peronospora, using methods that have a low environmental impact.
With a score of 99.57/100, Romagnoli F.lli Spa is continuing to receive qualifications for its work, having renewed its International Featured Standards (IFS) processing certification for its plant in Molinella (BO). It achieved an excellent result (Higher level), which was better than the previous audit.
The second showing of “Music that Helps” will take to the stage on Thursday 23rd May at the Bristol Theatre in Bologna – at 9.00 p.m., in Via Toscana 146. This is a charity performance that supports the social welfare work of the Committee of Bologna of the Italian Red Cross.
The Bologna-based company is continuing its commitment towards high-quality, sustainable farming. A new farming technique using integrated voluntary pest management, which forgoes the use of glyphosate and other synthetic chemicals (including phosphites, phenylamides, Qo inhibitors, and strobilurin).
