A delicious, flavourful side dish by @uno.spicchio.di.melone, these baked potatoes with cooked ham and fontina cheese are made with our Constance variety èVita Residue-Free potatoes, perfect for using with the skin on.
Ingredients for 4 people
Constance potatoes, 5
Cooked ham, 150g
Fontina cheese, 100g
Extra virgin olive oil, as required
Salt, to taste
Pepper, to taste
Preparation
Thoroughly wash the potatoes and then boil them in plenty of salted water. When they are soft enough, drain them and leave them to cool down for a few minutes. Next, gently flatten them using the bottom of a glass. After placing the flattened potatoes on a baking tray lined with baking paper, add some salt and pepper and oil them on both sides. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 10 minutes, until a golden brown crust forms on the outside. Fill with cooked ham and fontina cheese and then bake again for 10 minutes. Once they reach the desired texture, plate up and serve hot.
