Romagnoli F.lli’s sustainable agri-food culture balances protecting crops, the environment and people’s well-being
èVita Residue-Free potatoes are back in store, coming from the best production areas in Sicily, in particular from around Syracuse. Here, the characteristic reddish soil, rich in iron, gives these potatoes highly prized organoleptic qualities, making them an outstanding product on the agri-food scene. The quality variety we have selected for this particular region is Levante.
Romagnoli F.lli Spa’s èVita Residue-Free potatoes are the result of a long research and innovation process into different varieties. By using varieties that are naturally tolerant to the main plant diseases and by adopting coded farming practices, you can minimise any chemical treatments during growing, using very low-residue chemical molecules.
“Residue-Free” certification, issued by the Accredia Check Fruit certification body, was obtained thanks to a research process carried out together with Legambiente. The varieties selected, featuring high organoleptic qualities and an excellent flavour, are grown in the best areas of Italy for growing potatoes. This company from Bologna has developed a real production chain in these regions over the years, which is now considered a benchmark and an example for the Italian potato sector and, in particular, for the production of Sicilian potatoes.
Romagnoli F.lli’s agri-food culture focused on sustainability guarantees a product that can balance protecting crops, the environment and natural resources, as well as people’s well-being.
