International Women’s Day is celebrated on 8th March all around the world. It is a chance to celebrate the progress made by women in economic, political and cultural fields. This Day was established in the United States on 28 February 1909.
To help achieve the goals of the 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda, in particular numbers 4 and 5, this year, the UN chose the theme of “Women in the Changing World of Work: Planet 50-50 by 2030”. Goal number 5 focuses on gender equality and empowerment for women and girls, while number 4 involves access to quality education and lifelong learning for all.
Gender equality is therefore an essential aspect of wider corporate social responsibility, a fundamental pillar of Romagnoli F.lli’s sustainable culture. In fact, the company considers its people as the most precious asset for its existence and future development. In order to enhance the skills and expertise of every employee, Romagnoli has a Code of Ethics, thanks to which it incentivises the promotion, hiring, training, remuneration and management of human resources without supporting any type of discrimination, including unintentional.
