Romagnoli F.lli Spa, one of the main fruit and vegetable companies in Italy, has obtained UNI/PdR 125:2022 gender equality certification as provided for by the Italian National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR). By following a path of continuous improvement in terms of social sustainability, this result proves Romagnoli F.lli Spa’s commitment to promoting policies for equal treatment, women’s empowerment on pathways of company growth and to creating a working environment that encourages diversity, inclusion as well as mental and physical well-being for people at the workplace.
Furthermore, it shows the company’s focus on the organisation of internal activities in order to strike a balance between working requirements and respecting the free time and quality of life of its employees and contractors. 
 
The UNI/PdR 125:2022 reference practice, published on 16 March 2022, lays down the adoption of specific indicators, Key Performance Indicators (KPI), regarding six assessment areas for the different variables that characterise an inclusive organisation that respects gender equality: Culture and strategy, Governance, Human Resources Processes, Opportunities for growth and inclusion for women at the company, Equal pay by gender and Protecting parenthood and a work-life balance.
