The ad campaign Selenella ― Consorzio Patata Italiana di Qualità (High-Quality Italian Potato Consortium) involving Romagnoli F.lli S.p.A. is back on the air, with its radio version dedicated to new potatoes, an outstanding 100% Italian product, fully traced and guaranteed from farm to table.
A 10-second TV billboard has been running since 10 May 2020 on the main Italian TV networks, following a set programme throughout the day, with a special focus on prime time slots, which will end on 16 May. From yesterday until 23 May, a radio ad on Selenella new potatoes is also on the air, with a 15-second slot across some of the biggest Italian national and local radio stations, running more often during the daytime.
Selenella new potatoes ― perfect for all uses, especially as a side dish or a main course ― come from Sicily, where the specific climate conditions allow this early produce to arrive on consumers’ tables as early as spring. They have a delicate flavour, a tender yellow flesh, and a thin skin which can be eaten in order to benefit from its rich nutrients and minerals. Selenella new potatoes are naturally gluten-free and rich in selenium, a valuable nutrient with antioxidant properties.
