From 24th to 26th January, the former Romagnoli industrial warehouses (on Via Emilio Zago 3, Bologna) hosted for the second year running Paratissima, an international exhibition for independent artists, now in its third year in Bologna.

91 artists put their own works on display, drawing inspiration from the event’s theme: NEEDS, an exploration of the artistic and social side of the primary (and other) needs of contemporary society. Three prizes were up for grabs, handed out to seven promising artists:
The PRS Talent Prize: Diana Del Franco, Alessandro Marangon and Alketa Bercaj Art had their works bought by PRS Impresa Sociale, worth one thousand euros.
The N.I.C.E. Prize: Noelia De La Rosa Hernandez, Valerie Novello and Machina Imaginis will be able to exhibit their works at one of the N.I.C.E. exhibition projects during Paratissima Torino 2020.
The Art Production Prize: the work by Re Barbus will join the Art Production project, an independent production centre for emerging artists.
Congratulations to the winners and to all the artists who took part in this edition of Paratissima: with your works, you have turned our former warehouses into a space for reflection and for sharing ideas, culture and art.
