For the seventh year running, we have achieved IFS Food certification (an aspect which at our company is overseen by Grazia Romagnoli) for all activities relating to the processing of our products made at our production plant in Molinella (province of Bologna), with a score of 98.61% (Higher level).
IFS Food is an internationally recognised GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative) certification for audits of food industries that process food products or package bulk foods, which, through accredited bodies and qualified auditors using uniform criteria set by the standard, guarantee the highest level of control over production processes. The IFS Food standard is particularly important for suppliers of own-brand products and represents a guarantee in terms of quality levels, process safety and outstanding products. There are various fields of application: from management’s responsibility to the quality and safety management system for food products, from managing resources to planning and the production process, from measurements, analysis and improvements to food defence.
