The 2025/26 potato campaign of Romagnoli F.lli has concluded with very positive results.
It was a season that put field operations to the test due to the high temperatures recorded at the beginning of summer, yet it once again confirmed how experience, innovation, and collaboration throughout the entire supply chain can make a real difference.

Despite a reduction in yields compared to the previous year, the quality of the harvested potatoes remained at excellent levels. This result rewards the daily commitment of farmers, technicians, and all the people working to bring safe, tasty, and sustainable products to Italian consumers' tables.
The season that has just ended saw a particular focus on premium productions, such as èVita Residuo Zero, Selenella® and Patata di Bologna DOP brands, symbols of the strong connection between agriculture, territory, and tradition. Increasingly, consumers are looking for products that offer not only quality and taste, but also guarantees of origin and environmental responsibility.
To meet these expectations, we continue to invest in the development of new varieties and innovative projects. Among the most interesting innovations introduced over the past year is èVita Armonia Gourmet, a range designed for consumers who wish to combine culinary pleasure, well-being, and respect for natural resources. The varieties selected for this line offer distinctive characteristics that enhance cooking preparations, allowing consumers to choose the potato best suited to their recipes and enjoy new taste experiences.
Our commitment to innovation has always gone hand in hand with a strong focus on sustainability. With the publication of our fifth Sustainability Report, we achieved important recognitions, including the upgrade of our ESG Rating to Class A. These achievements testify to our ongoing commitment to environmental protection, responsible resource management, and the enhancement of people’s value. This concrete commitment also involves the farms within our supply chain, which are increasingly adopting production practices focused on water efficiency, safety, and crop quality.
The recently concluded campaign therefore confirms the strength of a model that places collaboration between producers, distributors, and consumers at its core. A system that enables us to face the challenges posed by climate change and evolving market demands without losing sight of what truly matters: offering high-quality products grown with expertise and respect for the land.
Proud of these results, we are already looking ahead to the next season, continuing to invest in research, varietal innovation, and sustainability in order to promote an increasingly responsible potato production sector capable of meeting consumers’ expectations.
